✦ What type of wallpaper do you offer?

We currently offer three premium wallpaper finishes:

• Premium (Spray & Stick): Spray the wall water-activated adhesive on the back of the wallpaper. Smooth matte finish, ideal for a luxurious, long-term look.

• Self-Adhesive: Peel-and-stick! Great for renters or those who want an easier, mess-free application. Removable and repositionable.

• Traditional (Paste the Wall): Classic paper wallpaper to be used with paste applied to the wall. Best for experienced DIYers or professionals.

✦ Are your wallpapers removable?

Yes! If you choose the Self-Adhesive option, it’s fully removable and designed not to damage walls. Perfect for renters or commitment-shy decorators. The Premium and Traditional options are more permanent, but can be removed with proper technique.

✦ How do I install the wallpaper?

Installation depends on the wallpaper type. Here’s a quick overview:

• Premium: Spray the wall water-activated adhesive on the back of the wallpaper, then apply wallpaper directly.

• Self-Adhesive: Just peel and stick—no paste needed!

• Traditional: Paste the wall itself before applying to the wallpaper.

✦ Can I order a sample before committing?

Yes, and we highly recommend it! Samples let you feel the texture, check the colour in your lighting, and test it in your space.

Sample orders are limited to a maximum of 5 per order. Large sample quantities may be subject to standard delivery charges or cancelled. Thank you for helping us keep this service fair and affordable for all customers.

✦ What size are your wallpaper rolls?

Each roll is:

• Width: 62 cm

• Length: 3 meters, 5 meters and 10 meters

✦ How long will it take to receive my wallpaper?

All orders are printed to order. Please allow:

• Processing: 3–5 business days

• Shipping (UK): 1–3 business days

✦ Do you ship internationally?

Currently, Bold Cottage ships exclusively within the UK. We look forward to expanding our shipping options soon—stay tuned!

✦ Are your designs original?

Yes — every pattern is lovingly designed by me, Karolina, inspired by folk art, vintage stencils, and heirloom textiles.

✦ Can I use your wallpaper in bathrooms or kitchens?

Yes — we recommend the Premium or Self-Adhesive options for rooms with humidity, but avoid direct water contact (e.g., inside a shower). For splash-prone areas, we suggest using a varnish or sealant.

✦ What’s your return policy?

Since each wallpaper is made to order, we do not accept returns unless the item is damaged or defective. Please double-check measurements and request a sample before ordering. If you have any issues, we’re here to help.

✦ Can I cancel my order?

Because all Bold Cottage wallpapers are made-to-order, we can only accept cancellations within 30 minutes of placing your order. After that, your wallpaper is already in production and cannot be changed or refunded.

To cancel within the window, email support@boldcottage.com with your order number and "Cancellation" in the subject line.

✦ What colours are used in your designs?

We exclusively use Benjamin Moore paint palettes, chosen for their rich tones, quality pigments, and timeless appeal.

✦ What if my order arrives damaged?

If your wallpaper arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and product. We’ll arrange a replacement or a suitable resolution promptly.
